the coffee ritual

I'm lucky enough to have a fantastic job, and I even get to do it from home. This means that I can work at whatever hour suits me, I can work in my pyjamas, (and often do) and I don't have to deal with peak hour traffic & monotonous commutes.

One thing that I enjoy immensely & has become a necessary part of my working day is my coffee. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, usually only 1 or 2 a day, but I do love it. So every morning after dropping the kids off at school, then finishing some laps of the pool I head home to face my desk again, but not before the kettle goes on & I make myself a hot steaming brew.
I'm also weirdly particular about my cup. If I'm working I absolutely must use my cup with the red dots.... it's my RedBubble cup!
